Fence Installation FAQ

Can I install the fence I purchased on my own?
You can easily install your own fence. We can provide written instructions with drawings to help in your installation job. An auger may be needed to dig holes for posts and can be rented at an equipment rental shop.

What kind of warranty do I receive when I purchase a fence?
Warranties on our fencing products start with a 15-year warranty on chain link, up to a lifetime warranty on vinyl and ornamental fencing.

How long will it take until my fence can be installed?
If you have our installation crews build your fence, we can usually have it ready in about a three week period even in the most active time of the year.

How long does it take for a special ordered fence or a custom designed fence?
It usually takes no longer than ten working days to build your custom wood or vinyl fence.

Can my fence be delivered locally or out of state?
We can deliver your fence or railing anywhere in the continental U.S.

What styles and colors do you have?
Color and styles vary according to the type of fence or railing you purchase.

Can you install fence year round?
You may install fencing year round. In northern climates where the ground freezes below 8" deep, it becomes much more difficult to install fencing during part of the winter.

Can I install more fencing at a later date?
Yes, most customers add to their fence according to their needs or to make changes in their fence line.

I don't know how much fence I need can you send someone out?
Yes, we have a professional sales staff that makes outside fence calls. We can also give you a price on the phone if you have the measurements. If you have a drawing of your fence layout you can fax it to (724) 586-9430 and someone in our sales office will work out a price for you.

How do I clean and care for my vinyl fencing? Most dirt on a vinyl fence can be cleaned easily with soap, water and a scrub brush. A power washer can also be used but is really not needed. Most stubborn dirt may be removed with soft scrub and a little elbow grease.
